My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
So nice to see you again, Gracie. I'm curious about how things go for you. You are doing what my wife talks about doing a few years from now. I keep telling her that I don't think nursing could be her thing because of her emotional ties to people. Not too sure she can "keep it together" under duress. I'm hoping she considers other medical alternatives like pharmacy or something like that. Still, I'd like to keep tabs on how it is working out for you!
~Hi Gracie-Mae...Cedar here!
Listen, you are just amazing. Do you realize what you have done? You took control of your life and made it YOURS! I think that is just Da*mn amazing, I think YOU are amazing. You are never too old for self-improvement..never. Your 'Can Do' attitude is an inspiration to us all and I'm proud to live in the same state with you Grace. ~ One more thing...don't ever think of yourself as old..ok? You are a college girl now, and don't ever forget it. Start that camaro up girl...get in that, and crank the radio...and boogie Gracie-Mae! Bruce Springsteen! Yeah!!!!
P.S. Visit the Countdown thread, I tend to hang there, would love to see you.
Thank you all for the nice words. Yes Auntie -I think the computer hiccoughs are fixed but I am getting a new computer with STUDENT LOANS!!! Jeff -I dont know about the dont get attached to the patients thing either but I have to be a nurse. I have a God Given Gift of loving to care for people and if I have to get my heart broken because I feel too much for the people I am taking care of thats what I have to do. It means I am lucky to be able to love that much and your wife is lucky too.I am looking forward to being able to go on medical mission trips too. Nurses get to do that.I was on one mission trip in 2004 . It was fun but I think I am going to enjoy way more going on one as a nurse. Jon --you are still my favorite hick!!!!!! Cedar it is stinkin freezing where I live. Its not all that far from you. We are under so much snow it is pathatic. I got 3 new blankets and a quilt rack for christmas. They are in my living room. Usually you will find me under at least one of those blankets . I also invested in a pair of pink long johns that have become my best friend. THey are in the laundry right now and I miss them. Jay--you are always my best and first computer friend. I love those lunch time chats. ANd eveyone else--I love you too and happy to see you !
~Gracie..Did you happen to see the news? We made a record today, the state of Michigan, for the amount of snow in February...Lansing got 19"....supposed to be 9" ....oh boy. Sick of the stuff, aren't you ?
I think you Grace, will make an outstanding nurse...hope I get YOU if I'm ever sick, that's for sure!!!
Been to Bonners lately? I know you like Poinsetta's.
