Santa is visiting cities, towns and villages of East Africa at this time. Fans from the city of Mogadishu have written to report a Merry Christmas.
Santa is very interested in the welfare of people in this part of the world. Often a place of violence, disease and poverty, Santa brings to this place different things to those who believe in him. Toys are still brought for small children but older kids get medicine, clothes and books from Santa -- because those are the things they want most.
Santa is pressing onward, refusing to take breaks. He is making record time in his dash around the world.
Kids in Europe have been encouraged by Santa to seek an early bedtime tonight!
