I imagine outliving all their kids was painful though. What a great testament to the power of love. Hopefully they're all together again catching up on old times.

Coming into this a bit late, but you'd be surprised how often this happens. I personally have registered the deaths of 3 separate old couples who have died within about 24 - 48 hours of each other. The families were completely shell-shocked but all of them agreed that it was a lovely way for their parents to go as the survivor couldn't have lived without their life partner
