My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
I think it's time for a woman to step in here to give a little input. Lol. I believe most ladies love a guy who can make them laugh. Looks are not #1 on my list. Mind you, this is my opinion even though I believe Sonny is a handsome guy. It was his personality and ability to keep the humor going.
But now that we're married, he's getting too serious...What's up with that? I say let's keep the laughter going and staying on the lighter side of life.
I hope other ladies will jump in here to give opinions.
From what I've found, most of the guys that are really good looking know it and show it by their actions. I love a guy that can have a good laugh and not take life too seriously. And if he loves animals, even better. Looks are not the main thing for me.
I think love is beyong science. It's too complex to study or "figure out". I do think that physical attraction, however, is nothing more than biology. A woman may prefer a tall guy with broad shoulders and a square chin because her subconscious tells her that the guy will be a good mate and produce strong offspring. She would probably have a "fling" with said broad-shouldered guy, but ending up forging a meaningful relationship with a guy (whether he be broad shouldered or not) because of his emotional availability. I'm just talking about attraction here...not love.
The problem with that is that people say to me, "Jay, your wife is goregous!!!" As if they're surpised that an attractive girl would have anything to do with me...
That has happened with my husband too, which I find VERY rude! Funny thing, he says when guys raz him about his wife being pregnant again he says he whips out my pic and then they say something like "Oh good golly, I couldnt turn her down either" *Giggle*
Whatever Im just happy he finds me attractive and thats all that matters and me him!
I completely agree with Jana! I find it rude when people look surprised and shocked when I introduce myself or my hubby introduces me. I find it offensive because I happen to think he's adorable!
I think a man that is committed, is gentle with children (nothing is more sexier than when a man is being a father), does whatever it takes to keep his family together and stuff like that is the most attractive feature!
Upon first meeting somebody, looks has to play somewhat of a factor for the attraction to even be there. BUT...once they open their mouths, that tells it all. If they are funny, confident, well-spoken, etc..they are all that more attractive!
