I will do that fresh cut of the trunk.....that was my problem last Christmas.....the tree lost so many needles....even tho it was fresh....the problem was....since I didn´t cut the trunk....the tree...
And I remember my brother selling his comic book collection for a trumpet. He played the trumpet well, but the comic books he had would have given him a brass band if he had held onto them until now. They were in mint condition.
I'm sorry but every time I see the title of this thread I laugh and I want to say "okay you're an idiot"....do you know how much stuff is in the dump that I threw away that I now see at the flea market bringing a small fortune?
Well, now, how many of us haven't done something like that? OR, worse, how many of us have held onto something thinking it would be valuable but, alas, only to discover that it isn't and never will be?

My husband had a train collection that went all the way down to his great grandfather, & he sold then 3 years ago,only now to be kicking himself in the butt.
So I guess we all are a bunch of idiots here.
