My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
No snow in Wales, skiparooney? Is this just a bad year or is this normal? Here's a BBC clip I found about a huge snow in Wales a couple decades ago: http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/walesonai...ase/snow.shtml
I just got around to taking the Christmas decorations out of my van and putting them in storage. I was able to take them down a couple weeks ago but didn't want to part with them just yet, so I drove around with them in the back of the van until today. Today my son is moving out and I need to use the space for his belongings. I can't let my fondness for all things Christmas stand in the way of the empty nest! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Can you believe there is a huge house in our neighborhood still lit up as if Christmas will arrive tomorrow. (I just bet the electric company loves them.) Lol.. The lights are strung up everywhere and very elaborately done. I just love passing this home in the evening. It truly stands out and keeps me in the Christmas mood. It will be sad when the lights go out. Every time I go down this street I hold my breath to see if the light show is still on-going....so far they are still up.
I kid you not, I was on the way home from work last night (Feb. 3rd) and that same house was all lit up. The trees and bushes in the yard were lit as well. To top it off, we got a flurry of snow today, though nothing stuck to the ground. 8)
Those lights are still lit today. I called the police to have them do a courtesy check to see if the owners of the house are out of town or if they have overdosed from eggnog. The interior lights are never on and the exterior Christmas lights never go off, even in the daytime.
 Its only snowing here !!!!!
Andddddddddd.... wots more to the pint heavy falls due on next thursday and friday !!!! wooooohooooooooo !!! cant wait - just wish one thing ..... it cudda happened 2 months ago
That house I spoke of is still lit up 24 hours a day. My guess is that they are waiting for a soldier to return from Iraq or something like that. That's a good family to pay those kind of electric bills to keep a promise to a soldier.
