I'm a little late for the monday thing, but today was the last day for school and I thought I would have some time off. Silly me, hired on for the summer to help the IT guys get ready for next year, so I have to go to work tomorrow bright and early. 40 days to get ready for school to start.
I'm having a Monday today....but thank goodness it's Tuesday!!!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels like this some days! I have a friend who works just down the road from me in the same town & we have similar jobs...both working in the office for a small company, so we email each other off & on all day long, & boy does that help the day go faster! I am also allowed to surf the internet, & we have a tv in the office (YES I am spoiled...why is it that some days still seem like an eternity??? Lol) I can't say that I actually watch tv, but it's on for noise like a radio. Now my boss will watch tv in there once in awhile! Lol! If it is a really slow time at work I don't have to "act busy" like you do at some places. I can bring in my book, or even crochet if it's really slow. As long as I'm there to answer the phones. But being slow makes the days drag even longer...
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace & goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
