2014 TV Halloween Specials

:boo:I just read the dates for a couple of more TV Channels that will air Halloween events and Specials. I have the timeframes but no actual schedule posted yet; will keep you updated once they are posted....

Food Network Halloween Wars will return to the Food Network for its fourth season, premiering Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 9pm ET!

Syfy Channel’s 7th annual “31 Days of Halloween” will return on Wednesday, October 1st 2014 at 8pm and will run through Friday, October 31st. This years “31 Days of Halloween” will unleash nearly 600 hours of bloodcurdling programming featuring the 10th anniversary Ghost Hunters special, the Original Movies Dark Haul and Finders Keepers, and a wide array of spine-tingling theatricals including Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 remake) and The Reaping.

AMC’s 2014 FearFest programming event will begin on Friday, October 17th and run through Friday, October 31st!

The season premieres of “The Walking Dead,” “Talking Dead” and “Comic Book Men” will coincide with AMC’s Zombie Apocalypse Week, from Monday, October 6th through Sunday, October 12th, as well as the network’s annual blockbuster marathon of thriller and horror films, AMC Fearfest. Celebrating its 18th year, AMC Fearfest will feature themed programming and more than 70 films, running from Friday, October 17th through Friday, October 31st.

Looking forward to all the programming! As some of you know in the past, I'm not a big fan of scary movies and TV, but I do love fall and Halloween - it's my second favorite Holiday. My kids and I will be loving up ABC Family, Disney, Disney Jr., Nick Jr., etc. These channels will have great programming as always!

I've never bothered with the remakes of Halloween I and II; maybe I'll check them out this year. I love the first series absent one movie so I'm scared that the remakes won't live up to my expectations.

Let me know what you think. I do like Rob zombie as an artist, but I didn't care for the remakes myself. The original is one of my favorite scary movie, it's a classic!

You know, although I'm not a big scary movie watching person, I do like watching the Shining, "Here's Johnny.....", The original Halloween, and I love the song by Dokken on Nightmare on Elm street - "Dream Warriors......" and the MTV video~; lol~:thumbsup:
