With the proliferation of Royal Farms and Wawa around Maryland, Highs is rapidly becoming extinct. Growing up in PeeGee county in the sixties (yeah I’m an old guy, six months out from the odometer turning 70), Highs were everywhere. Now I can only think of one location in my immediate vicinity. Add in gas stations that are convenience stores and the market is saturated.
