no, i couldve been in the parade, but that involved being up at 3 in the morning, walking in the cold, & missing most of dinner. Plus having worked til 10 the night before & having to be at work at 6 the next day, i just couldnt do it
I don't blame you. I don't think tha I would want to be in it, then I wouldn't get to see it. I have to watch it every year, It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without watching it.
I haven't but I think I'd like to at least once. I say I *think* because I really suspect that, unless you have an apartment overlooking the parade route, seeing the parade in person would be one of those things that is better in theory than in practice.
I would love to see the Macy's parade once. But I will watch it over and over on t.v. It was one of the things my mom and I did every year. Have to see Santa, that starts the whole season and then we eat dinner and watch football games. The spouse isn't a football person and it is usually warm out so we will probably take the dogs for a run.
I like to watch the parade on tv while having a late Thanksgiving breakfast. I never went to the parade in person I think it maybe to many people for me.
I strongly dislike all parades except Macy's Day parade. Its just not thanksgiving without it. I don't sit down and watch the whole thing, but i have it own as i prepare for the day and I always have to keep my eye out for Santa. I would love to see it in person just for the experience but i'm betting i would only do it once, between the crowds and cold. I n general I would love to experience NYC during the holiday season. I bet its spectacular. It would be so very hard to have christmas away from home though.
Never been, wouldent really wan to. Youd have to stand there and then trying to leave when its over...I'd much rather watch it in the comfort of my home.
