I was in my twenties in the 80's and it was reassuring to know my total life experience up to that point could be reduced to six questions on a 5 X 3 card... Trivial Pursuit for me!

I would have to say Atari, my husband and I were just talking about this the other day. And Rubiks Cube too, definitely a classic.

Sorry, I was always a bit Reserved, so cannot say I liked all of those, but only used a small amount of any of those at any one time.
I was Terrified of Teddy Ruxpin.
That thing is just plain Creepy.
I liked Cabbage Patch Kids, Trivial Pursuit, My Little Pony (still do), Rubik's Cube and Atari.

I loved the Speak and Spell when I was a kid. I used to carry it around ALL THE TIME.

Having said that, of course the Rubik's Cube and Atari are totally 80s. We had Coleco and our next door neighbors had Atari.

I was a little old for toys in the 80's, but I still got a kick out of the Atari. I enjoyed the Rubik's Cube, too.

I think we all had at least SOME contact with a Rubik's Cube in the 80s! hah hah.

Funny that none of us voted for it though.

Atari. It was funny too because when I spied my Mom with one in her cart I was worried that I wouldn't get the other stuff I wanted (I was aware of the Christmas "budget"). But I got the other stuff I asked for anyway. I wasn't crazy about the pack in game "Combat" or the game my Mom bought "Pacman" (nothing like the arcade) but once I started getting games I liked such as "Space Invaders", "Star Wars: Death Star Battle" and "Atlantis" (see a theme LOL) I started to play it more and more. Then Atari put out some decent sports games a year or two later. Good times, good times.

Ditto. I LOVED Voltron. Well, the one with the Lions. The one made of cars was cool but nowhere near as awesome.

I wanted that large Optimus Prime truck but it was hard to find where I grew up. And when you did find it, it cost a fortune! Count your blessings! :)

Sorry for the double post but I just wanted to mention that I have this exact console. I never had Atari growing up so I jumped at the chance to get this. While it does have some "crappy" games on it, it has some classics on it like Pitfall and Missile Command. Fun times! :)

I also love M.A.S.K. toys too, it was so cool to have a Camaro that "flew" the truck that turned into a sort of tank and so on.

Off this list I had to go with He-man. However I was(still am) a huge wrestling fan so my wrestling figures were my favorite.
