Operation Christmas Cheer is now in its 14th year. This simple effort first collects names and addresses of the elderly, the ill or the downtrodden so that well wishers can extend a simple greeting of Christmas cheer. Then the list is distributed so that the Christmas community online can send them cards.
In order for this effort to be successful we need names and addresses. The date for distribution of the list is December 8th. So we need names and addresses as soon as possible.
This simple little effort every holiday season has over the years lifted many spirits. While there are indeed many with physical needs every holiday season there are so many more who just need a little love. It can be done with the low cost of just a stamp.
Do you know someone who could use a little Christmas cheer? Do you know someone who is ill or shut-in and cannot get out this holiday season? Are you aware of someone having a rough time and just needing a little love?
This is what Operation Christmas Cheer is all about.
Don’t send money. Please just send us names and addresses. Click here to contribute to the list. Please share this post with as many of your friends as we can. When we spread the word, we spread the cheer.
