Country Christmas Albums Coming Out in October

Country ChristmasIt is a country Christmas this year as multiple country artists have announced albums for the festive season. Long ago we announced Reba, Merle Haggard and Rascal Flatts. Today the news comes of albums from Loretta Lynn, Chris Young and Jennifer Nettles.

Loretta Lynn’s new album is due in just a few weeks, on October 7th and is named White Christmas Blue. The unusual title of the album is due to an original song by the same title the album is named for. Lynn sings several classics include a reprise of her Christmas hits, Country Christmas and To Heck with Old Santa Claus.

Chris Young will bring out It Must Be Christmas on October 14th and he brings an all-star cast of musical stars with him. Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley and Boyz II Men join Young on the album. Here is the track listing:

And finally this might seem like yesterday’s news given that Dolly Parton spilled the beans on this but it is true that Jennifer Nettles has her own Christmas album coming out on October 28th. Titled To Celebrate Christmas the album also features some guest artists. Nettles is joined by Idina Menzel and Andra Day. Dolly Parton is a collaborator on the song Circle of Love.
