American Idol alum Danny Gokey is following up a successful 2014 album release with a new project, reported to be a Christmas album to release in time for Christmas 2015.
Gokey has released just one Christmas tune, 2010’s Tennessee Christmas, a sample of which can be heard below:
Gokey’s 2014 album Hope in Front of Me spent four weeks atop the Christian charts, surprising critics and delighting fans.
Danny Gokey rose to surprising fame in 2008 as a contestant on American Idol. The story of his efforts and talents on the show following the death of his wife inspired fans. He finished in 3rd place on American Idol but has seen some success in the years since.
