Although I had this site saved in my favorites for a while, yesterday was the first time I'd actually ventured here to check it out.
Between this site and Magical Holiday Home, I think I'll be in heaven for quite some time.
My name is Laura, and I'm mom/step-mom to eight and grandma to five (soon to be six). I live in upstate NY (waaaay upstate...about an hour from the Canadian border) and I do love Christmas and everything associated with it. I love being in the stores with the crowds, and the hustle and bustle, I love the music, the movies/specials on tv....and I saw the post from the fella with over 100 movies.....that's the goal that aspire to!!!! LOL

Yesterday, my husband remarked that he was wanting to get our Christmas shopping done soon. I pretty much ignored him. It was the last kind of words I expected to hear from his mouth.
This morning, we were going out to breakfast and I asked him if he was serious about what he said. He asked to what I was referring, and I said "About getting the Christmas shopping done". He said yes, that he wanted to get it out of the way.
I looked at him and said "Who are you, and what have you done with my husband!!!!"
He's usually kind of a grump about the holidays. I'm liking this new attitude!
