- MyMerryChristmas supports linking to Christmas resources for the benefit of our site users and readers
- MyMerryChristmas does not participate in affiliate programs
- MyMerryChristmas does not link to non-Christmas related resources unless it is relevant to our content and audience
- MyMerryChristmas does not actively monitor links in areas of public comment or discussion. We believe our site membership is the best source for relative links and that such links should be shared at their discretion in appropriate areas.
- MyMerryChristmas does allow for linking in member profiles, signatures, and posts
- MyMerryChristmas does not join directories, outside blog networks or other link schemes
- MyMerryChristmas produces content for Christmas fans, not search engines
- MyMerryChristmas actively works to meet industry search engine linking standards
- MyMerryChristmas eschews any type of so-called “black hat” linking schemes and methods that deceptively manipulate search engine rankings
- MyMerryChristmas does sell limited amounts of advertising through established ad network and by means of internal marketing efforts
- MyMerryChristmas actively and aggressively bans spam on all forum areas and in public commenting. Our zero-tolerance spam efforts are clearly spelled out in the registration process. First time users who spam are immediately banned without appeal.
- MyMerryChristmas may provide sponsored articles at its sole discretion
- MyMerryChristmas may allow guest posting occasionally for special events or reason. Guest posts may include appropriate links as long as they fall within established MMC link policy
- MyMerryChristmas gladly partners with other Christmas publications, communities, websites, blogs, podcasts, musicians, filmmakers and Christmas creators. Links to those resources are freely given and are maintained as long as partners remain active.
- MyMerryChristmas reserves the right to edit or remove any link at any time for any reason, at its sole discretion
