When is it - or can it ever be - too soon to think about Christmas?

I have a midsumner Christmas tingle, but for me, all things have a season, and all seasons have a time, so any signs of Christmas before the end of September is rather pushing it.

I’d have to agree, Moley. It’s great seeing you on here, by the way.

I just listened to the podcast about the "Christmas too early" thing. Im new to the site and really enjoyed the episode. I have a close relation who really can't stand any sign of Christmas before Thanksgiving, yet he complains about it all Christmas time too... "When will it be over!?"

And I'm over here in March, or August, listening to my Christmas music when the mood strikes, lol. I do try to be a bit careful towards those who may not like it as much as I do - If I listen to Christmas music during the 'off season" I will use headphones. I wait until after Thanksgiving to put the decorations up - (only because my wife says I have to, LOL) but I will never complain if you want your lights up early.

So Im in favor of Christmas whenever however, I just try to be courteous within reason for those who maybe bothered by it. But I will proudly wear my Christmas t-shirt in the summer. And I will not apologize for it :)
