Hallmark Christmas Movie Countdown Begins on Halloween

Hallmark’s traditional Countdown to Christmas kicks off on Halloween as part of their drive to bring 16 new Christmas movies to television audiences this holiday season.

Thanksgiving weekend will see five new movies make their debut:

Tis the Season for Love — an out-of-work actress returns home for the holidays and discovers romance could replace her ambitions for stardom
North Pole 2: Open for Business — a woman in need of a little help and Christmas Spirit gets both from…elves.
Ice Sculpture Christmas — an aspiring chef finds love during an annual Christmas ice sculpting contest.
Crown for Christmas — girls finds a prince who turns out to really be a king.
On Time for Christmas — a comedy about stranded travelers who have to help each other get home for Christmas.

And don’t forget — Mariah Carey is a big part of the festive fun at Hallmark during their countdown this year as she brings her own brand of Christmas music to a Hallmark movie that Carey herself will direct.
