It is understandable enough to mix up the words now and then — especially if the song you are singing is a 500-year old Christmas carol. But to do it on purpose just to drive people crazy or to get a response — well, that takes talent.
The first thing to catch my eye in this video is the fact that this was filmed on the streets of Salt Lake City during Christmastime. Salt Lake is one of the unsung Christmas cities in America with one of the largest light displays available on Temple Square. Located in the heart of Salt Lake’s downtown Temple Square is the largest tourist attraction in the state and it is especially popular at Christmas time because of the lights and the decorations.
The intent of this Christmas prank was to get reactions and that was accomplished in spades. But my admiration for this singer in this video knows no limits. To be this bad you have to really know what you’re doing:
