World’s Largest Virtual #Hallelujah Chorus

Don’t tell me you’ve never done this: when the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah comes on you have to sing along. You might even whip out your best opera. And you’ve certainly done it in the shower. I can recall this being a habit I picked up while quite young. In fact, it got “worse” after high school when I had learned to sing in parts — belting out the high tenor until my eyeballs nearly fell out. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has taken that and made it easy for closet Hallelujah singers to join the choir with a recentRead more

The Unspeakable Gift

The Unspeakable Gift

Joining them will be Broadway star Santino Fontana, who appeared with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in July for the Pioneer Day Concert. Fontana is the voice of Prince Hans from Disney’s hit movie Frozen. “This year’s concert is going to be unlike any other,” said Ron Jarrett, choir president. “Joining Santino’s talents with the residents of SesameRead more
