LBT\u2019s Phillip Sweet revealed that the talented group will begin recording the album this month.<\/p>\n<p>Although there\u2019s no official word on what type of songs the foursome will be recording, Sweet says they are planning to incorporate both classic <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> songs and never-before-heard medleys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you have to really address the classics,\u201d he says during a chat with ABC News <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/a-glimpse-of-christmas-100-years-ago\/\">Radio<\/a>. \u201cI think that\u2019s what people want to hear. Of course, we want to do some originals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Little Big Town will record some of the four-part harmonies they are known for, they are also going to reveal some surprises. \u201cWe always want to do something a little different, but always still fresh but at the same time familiar and beautiful,\u201d Phillip shares.<\/p>\n<p>Fans can look forward to hearing their beautiful renditions of classic songs as well as new holiday tunes later this year.
