Iconic R&B band Mint Condition to release first ever Christmas<\/a> album, “Healing Season” this month. The holiday project is a creative blend of classics and original songs.<\/p>\n

Heralded as one of the last great R&B bands, the 5-member group (Stokley Williams, Larry Waddell, Homer O’Dell, Rick & Jeffery Allen) has created a Christmas<\/a> project that is perfectly suited for the holiday season and well throughout the year.<\/p>\n

“Healing Season” goes beyond the typical silver bells and holiday cheer, it speaks right into the hearts of people and seeks to touch a chord with people in need of healing, peace<\/a> and comfort before, during and after the holiday season. With songs like “Not What I Wanted,” and “Lonely Christmas<\/a>,” Mint Condition creates powerful and purposeful music.<\/p>\n

Mint Condition’s signature sounds shine on some of the original tracks especially on “1st Snowfall,” “1 Brand Name,” and on the title cut “Healing Season,” which has received early traction on radio<\/a>. “Healing Season” also features holiday classics and favorites. Bringing their entire arsenal of talent, Mint Condition lends their musical mastery to beloved classics with renditions of “Little Drummer Boy,” “A Child Is Born,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas<\/a>,” and “Santa Claus Go Straight to the Ghetto.”<\/p>\n

Equal parts jazzy, funky and soulful, the soon-to-be-classic album will be sold in stores and online on Friday, October 16. <\/p>\n
