On October 21 she will release <em>Wonderland<\/em>, her first <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album since her hit holiday album of 2006 titled <em>Wintersong<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/sneaking-christmas\/\">love<\/a> everything about <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> and this record was a joy to make,\u201d said McLachlan of \u201cWonderland\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will enjoy such holiday classics as \u201cSilver Bells\u201d, which is reimagined as \u201ca shimmering, orchestrated picturesque tale,\u201d as well as \u201cGo Tell It On The Mountain\u201d (featuring vocals from Emmylou Harris and Martha Wainwright), while \u201cAway In A Manager\u201d is reinvented as a country shuffle. In all, <em>Wonderland<\/em> features 13 contemporary and traditional holiday songs. <\/p>\n<p>Throughout her career in the music scene, McLachlan has sold in excess of 40 million albums worldwide; moreover, in 2002, she founded her charitable organization, the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which provides top quality music instruction at no cost, in a safe and nurturing environment, for at-risk and under-served children who otherwise would have no access to music programming. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/bwwmusic\/article\/Sarah-McLachlans-New-Holiday-Album-Wonderland-Due-Out-On-Verve-Records-1021-20160923\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>On the album<\/strong><\/a>, Sarah welcomes guests like country music legend Emmylou Harris, Canadian folk singer Martha Wainright, the Canadian indie rock band Half Moon Run, and, oddly, the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Wonderland-Sarah-McLachlan\/dp\/B01K6891FU\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Amazon<\/strong><\/a> has it all set for pre-order. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sarah McLachlan joins the parade of artists bringing out new Christmas albums this year.
