With little fanfare and quiet storytelling yet another version of <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/the-true-story-of-silent-night\/\"><em><strong>Silent Night<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is given to us via this touching new video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Krj_9gOdy8k\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Tabernacle Choir has made it something of a tradition to release a video story behind a classicly arranged hymn of <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a>. This version of <em>Silent Night<\/em> is no different.<\/p>\n<p>The almost eight-minute video tells the story of a grieving police officer, played by actor Kevin Sorbo, who finds his regular beat on <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> Eve interrupted as he and a diverse group of strangers help a young couple with the birth of their baby.<\/p>\n<p>Sorbo is best-known for playing the title role in the TV show &#8220;Hercules: The Legendary Journeys,&#8221; as well as his roles in the films &#8220;Let There Be Light&#8221; and &#8220;God&#8217;s Not Dead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Silent Night\u2019 is one of the most cherished <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> carols of all time,&#8221; Sorbo said in a press release. &#8220;And this video\u2019s story showing how people of diverse backgrounds can work together in unity is so needed in the world today.
