It is Vince Guaraldi<\/a> Day of Christmas<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. Vince Guaraldi is a Christmas<\/a> hero for his happy compositions featured in A Charlie Brown Christmas<\/a>. The jazzy soundtrack was a surprise addition to the Peanuts<\/em> franchise that was somewhat controversial at the time. But in the decades since no one can think of Christmas<\/a> with the Peanuts without the music of Vince Guaraldi. Guaraldi was born on this day in 1928 and had a distinguished career long before associating with Charles Schulz<\/a>\u2018 Peanuts. But he made his cultural mark with the signature sound that all now associated with Charlie Brown. Guaraldi\u2019s original recordings get played along side Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra and other classic artists every holiday season. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
