Smith took to social media and posted pictures of himself in the studio recording his upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album during the summer. The album follows an extensive catalog of <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> albums from Smith.<\/p>\n<p>The legendary singer was excited to share the news with his fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaking <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> music in June\u2026\u2026love my tree!\u201d Smith posted this along with a picture on his Facebook profile. Not a lot of information on the upcoming album has been disclosed, but Smith did reveal some of the names of the collaborations that will be featured on the album.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the studio with Lady Antebellum working on new <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album,\u201d read one of his post, another said, \u201cMaking beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> music with Little Big Town\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith released his first Holiday album in 1989 entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a>. He followed that with a 1998 release called Christmastime. His It\u2019s a Wonderful <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album was recorded at London\u2019s famous Abbey Road Studios with a 65-piece orchestra and 4 choirs in 2007. Smith also has a number of collaborative <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> albums.<\/p>\n<p>The worshiper released one mega album entitled The Ultimate <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> Collection, a 33-song collection. It included three perennial <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album favorites from Smith\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a>, Christmastime and A Wonderful <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Smith has built a strong seasonal brand known for such original songs as \u201cGloria,\u201d \u201cEmmanuel,\u201d and \u201cChristmas Day\u201d (featuring Mandisa); as well as the standards such as \u201cSilent Night\u201d and \u201cAway in the Manger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Upon hearing news of his upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> album, fans flooded his Facebook page with support, \u201cLove your <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> music and your Christian music. Your songs are inspirational to me,\u201d one noted.<\/p>\n<p>Another said, \u201cYou make some of the best <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> albums!\u201d Someone else said, \u201cCan hardly wait for the album\u2026I can hear bells jingling in the snow\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael W.
