The new stamps sell for $0.73 each, reflective of postal price increases put into effect in July.<\/p>\n<p>The new stamps shown below go on sale September 14, 2024. That is a full three weeks earlier than new releases in years past. Collectors and <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/mr-christmas-of-the-19th-century\/\">Christmas<\/a> card sending enthusiasts tend to rush the early purchase of stamps and it is not unusual for the USPS to order reprints even before <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/mr-christmas-of-the-19th-century\/\">Christmas<\/a>. Invariably there are usually times of short supply closer to <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/mr-christmas-of-the-19th-century\/\">Christmas<\/a> when this happens.<\/p>\n<p>New for 2024 is the new Holiday Joy collection. Four new art-inspired holiday stamp designs feature two colorful <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/mr-christmas-of-the-19th-century\/\">Christmas<\/a> ornaments, a vibrant poinsettia surrounded by greenery, and a whimsical blue flower centered against green leaves and delicate scrollwork. Antonio Alcal\u00e1, an art director for USPS, designed the stamps and booklet of 20, using original digital illustrations by Michelle Mu\u00f1oz.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34310\" src=\"https:\/\/mmc-220a5.kxcdn.com\/x\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/685004-Z2.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday Joy Christmas Stamps\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also available this year is a new version of an older design titled <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/mr-christmas-of-the-19th-century\/\">Christmas<\/a> Madonna and Child 2024:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34311\" src=\"https:\/\/mmc-220a5.kxcdn.com\/x\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/685104-Z1.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas Madonna and Child\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Both of these new stamps will be available on September 14th, 2024 via any US Post Office and various vendors online.<\/p>\n<p>Also available from the past few years are the Snow Globes stamps:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34312\" src=\"https:\/\/mmc-220a5.kxcdn.com\/x\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/684504-Z0.jpg\" alt=\"Snow Globes Stamps\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And also the very popular Elves stamps:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34313\" src=\"https:\/\/mmc-220a5.kxcdn.com\/x\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/683904-Z0.jpg\" alt=\"Elves Christmas Stamps\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We remind participants in our annual <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/home\/christmas-events\/annual-christmas-card-exchange\/\">Christmas Card Exchange<\/a> to get their stamps early as these holiday offerings frequently disappear even before <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/sneaking-christmas\/\">Thanksgiving<\/a>. Some opt to purchase a few books at a time.
