The 4th Annual World\u2019s Largest <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> Party is scheduled for Sunday, December 14th around the world. <\/p>\n<p>The World\u2019s Largest <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> Party is a tradition begun on <a href=\"http:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>My Merry Christmas.com<\/strong><\/a>, a year round <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> community. In 2010 the idea was hatched to gather as many <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> friends from the world for a set period of time to just celebrate <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> together. This was facilitated through a live <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/a-glimpse-of-christmas-100-years-ago\/\">radio<\/a> broadcast, scheduled online chat events and forum contests. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/forum\/showthread.php?t=58352\" target=\"_blank\">It is time we extend the World\u2019s Largest Christmas Party to the world<\/a>,\u201d said Jeff Westover, self-described Chief Bottle Washer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/home\/christmas-events\/annual-christmas-card-exchange\/\">Merry Forums<\/a> of My Merry <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a>. \u201cIt is an exciting thing to hear the voices of fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> fans we know from around the world. We never or rarely ever get to meet these people face to face but for years we have gathered online and shared bits and pieces of <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> together. We thought it would be great to pick a time when we could all be online together and the idea just kind of took off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The effort this year is to expand the party. \u201cWe know there are others out there \u2014 countless others \u2014 who have <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> to share and would share if they knew a way to do it.\u201d Westover said. \u201cIt isn\u2019t important which website we do it on, in fact, we think folks could just showcase their specialty and invite into their cyber-homes for one day at Christmastime.
