However, the film will shoot for laughs and will feature an all-animal cast, with Jesus portrayed as a lamb. <\/p>\n<p>Word is just reaching blog and media outlets on this project but broad speculation exists that the Christian blogging community will not like this. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/sony-pictures-animation-developing-faith-based-movie-about-nativity-story-exclusive\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Hollywood can only speculate on the money<\/em><\/a> aspect of the film, dropping success stories in faith-based films in the past year from <em>Heaven is Real<\/em>, <em>Son of God<\/em>, and the weird and inexplicable <em>Noah<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Sony says it will be an \u201cinspiring, respectful and entertaining\u201d take on the story. <\/p>\n<p>This project was just announced and while no release date has been set we speculate it will likely hit theaters in time for <a href=\"https:\/\/mymerrychristmas.com\/x\/celebrating-20-years-of-the-merry-forums\/\">Christmas<\/a> 2016. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Talk about your twisted logic.
