Go Tell It on the Mountain Played with Hands and Feet

Go Tell It on the Mountain may not be the most well known or popular Christmas song of all time. But this rendition not only brought down the house it continues to be a marvel to those who have seen it over and over.

The song itself actually dates back to 1865 and it’s considered a Christmas song because it references the Nativity of Jesus Christ. It has been recorded by multiple artists over the decades in a variety of styles — but none are quite like this rendition.

Most songs have to be heard. But Mormon Tabernacle Choir organist Richard Elliott has to be seen while performing this classic spiritual. He usually takes a part in the Choir’s annual Christmas concert in Salt Lake City, a production usually shared on PBS on Christmas Eve. As this video clearly shows he often steals the whole show:
