Worked out fine, in the end. The installer ran into difficulties, but he rigged a solution. The 40-minute job he expected turned into an over 3-hour job. But the phones are working again.

Hard to believe that this little bug is 3 weeks old tomorrow. She has brought me more love and happiness than I thought I would ever have. I’m so proud of my son and his fiancé and I never thought I would be able to say that. I love you Little Miss Ellie! I can/can’t wait to watch you grow and explore your world.

We had lots of fun on the boardwalk. We got pizza and did the arcades. Carolina had fun on all the rides. When she left with her great grandparents to come home we went to the $5 frozen drink bar. The drinks come out of a slushie machine so they are either too weak or too strong, so we usually only go once a season. I got Froze', which is frozen Rose'. The bar has beach chairs that you can sit on in the sand. Now we are home and Carolina is sleeping and Mike is playing a video game, so I am drinking a glass of wine and reading a summery book.

I don't like those things either. Have you ever picked one up in you hand? They like try to poke your hand with those pointy legs that they have. And those bags, peewwwwww, after awhile, those things really get to stinking.

They are quite prevalent around here, and when we are walking they’ve landed on us. So I understand what you mean about their legs. Their buzzing sound is creepy, I often can hear them before I see them. Agree about the bags!

Happy Friday MMC! And good last day of the Non-Bers/August! How did summer just go by us like we were standing still? Every year it does...June/July/August seems like 1 long month instead of 3 separate months. Just unreal. Just happy about the 3 day weekend. Tonight I'm going to try to see the grand finale (already) of the fireworks at the amusement park. Saturday I have errands to do. I'm actually going to my 1st baseball game in years on Sunday and Monday meeting our Co-Worker who left in June for a special Labor Day Breakfast (and then BBQ later in the day with fam). Have a great one on the Bers Eve!

I forgot to mention that yesterday we welcomed another new family member - Logan - 6lbs. 15 oz. to the family!! He is the 17th great (niece or nephew!) to join the clan!!

Merry Friday Friends!
I’m just having a cup of coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I’m having a get together on Labor Day so I have to figure out a menu plan for that as well. Not too much going on here today. I’m just going to stop st the butcher at some point. My youngest is coming over later and we’re going to have lunch together. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. That’s about it. I hope everyone has a wonderful last day of August. I can not believe how fast this month went by!

The humidity is gone...yay!! Looking forward to the 3 day weekend. My daughter has a soccer jamboree tomorrow and then no real plans. My husband is still not feeling 100% so I think we will lay low for the weekend.
