Christmas Countdown - 2018

Love sitting here int he morning listening and rocking at times to Kringle Radio !
Going over to church this morning to map out where wedding decorations will go and if we need more. Also to do same with reception hall.
This afternoon off to London with my girls for dress shopping.

Thank you Martine! He doesn’t seem to mind when I dress him in clothes but for some reason he always tries to take off the bandanas from the groomer!

Morning MMC! I need to get a nice coat like HMG has for Rocky. Rollins sweater is getting worn out. And I had to take him to the vet yesterday for an abscess on his butt and well $700 later and the cone of shame they cleaned it out and fixed him up. But this is the 2nd time he had that and they said 1 more and they might recommend surgery. Hope you all have a good day today!

Awww I hope Rollins is doing okay and has a speedy recovery. Praying he doesn’t need surgery!

I know, and my dress still needs to be shortened. Going to London today with the bride and maid of honor to make final payment on the gown and find a dress for maid of honor.

It’s going to be a sunny and mild day with a high of 62 degrees. I don’t have too much going on, I’ll just be working on some chores around the house after I finish my cup of coffee. My youngest and I are going to the Chinese restaurant this afternoon for lunch and then we’re making a Target run afterward. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Days to the Season: 21 (Three weeks from TODAY!)
Days to Christmas Day: 63 (Nine weeks from today!)
Those numbers are disappearing so fast!

They are disappearing faster than a fresh, hot batch of fired twinkies on a busy day at the Shispering Pines!

A brief warming trend is underway and we got well into the 60's yesterday with 71 the predicted high for today. There should be plenty of sun, too.
Our present thermometer reading here in the capital city is a still chilly 47 degrees.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I played in a golf tournament yesterday, and it was a BEAUTIFUL day! I didn't always hit the ball straight, but who cares LOL.

Now I have to hit the floor running. I'm still trying to finish-up Elizabeth's play props, and Nancy keeps adding stuff to it. I've been painting since Sunday afternoon, and we still have stuff to paint.

I've had a meeting in 10 minutes, then a customer tour at 10am. Sooner or later, I've got to get something done!

Thanks! He bounced back pretty fast cause he was sulking at first and now he's running all over like usual. The vet says some dogs are just more prone to getting it.

the bridesmaids have taken over so I have had nothing to do , and sounds like it is going to be great fun.

Happy Tuesday!! Typical work day for me and my husband's car is in the shop, a couple of radiator hoses went so he has my car for the day. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. Yesterday in my daughter's soccer game she got hit in the face with ball at close range...she has a little black eye and had a bit of headache when she got home. I called the pediatrician but she didn't think it was a concussion and gave me signs to look for it but so far she seems ok. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! Going to be a little chillier today than yesterday - low of 32 tonight. Sounds like another frosty morning tomorrow!

Thanks Holiday. I'm feeling better, but still not myself. I'm still really sore in my abdomen area. Looks like I'm going to have to set up some appointments, to go see a urologist and also a gastroenterologist, so they can take a better look at me. I am not looking forward to seeing either one, especially the gastroenterologist, those guys are a real pain in the rear....

Praying for an easy solution!!! xx

Work today, but I'm home so I am going to make a pot of sauce for mushroom ravioli. It is a gorgeous day out right now ~ sun shining, not too cold. I hope to get a walk in later today.

Enjoyed what is shaping up to be the last warm day(62 degrees) of the season, this past Friday. I took the day off, hung the outdoor Christmas lights, lubed the snow thrower, and covered the air conditioner in its winter jacket.

I will clean the gutters out after our trees finish dropping their leaves. Most of the ones living(?) in the drainage portals are from a huge tree next door. This includes the six inch stems that break off, stick out, and clog everything up.

The flannel sheets went on the bed, this morning. Gotta get indoors in line with the changing season, too.
