Happy Tuesday!! Typical work day for me and my husband's car is in the shop, a couple of radiator hoses went so he has my car for the day. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. Yesterday in my daughter's soccer game she got hit in the face with ball at close range...she has a little black eye and had a bit of headache when she got home. I called the pediatrician but she didn't think it was a concussion and gave me signs to look for it but so far she seems ok. Hope you all have a great day!
Ouch! I hope she's ok.

@Holiday, I'm sorry Mom had a bad weekend ~ praying this week is far better! xx

Thank you so much Holiday!
I’m sorry to hear your mom had a rough weekend, I hope today was better!
xx

Sorry mom had a bad weekend! I hope her week gets better

Thank you! She seems to be feeling better but still tired.

I don't think I'd be able to do flannel sheets. My bed needs to be absolutely freezing to sleep

Thanks to all of you! She looks a little better today than she did yesterday - she's getting to spend A LOT of time in bed. I'm going over at lunch to help move her to her chair. Poor lady!!

Glad to hear Carolina is doing better! xx

I'm the same way with flannel sheets...just can't do them. Maybe if we kept our house colder... ;)

Morning MMC! I need to get a nice coat like HMG has for Rocky. Rollins sweater is getting worn out. And I had to take him to the vet yesterday for an abscess on his butt and well $700 later and the cone of shame they cleaned it out and fixed him up. But this is the 2nd time he had that and they said 1 more and they might recommend surgery. Hope you all have a good day today!
Awe - poor Rollins!! Praying all is good now & he won't have any more issues!! xx

the bridesmaids have taken over so I have had nothing to do , and sounds like it is going to be great fun.
How nice! Now you can just enjoy!!

I didn't see that your mom had a tough time. Bless her heart, sending prayers for her, and for you and your family.

Thanks Brad!!! They don't feel it's safe to move her anymore - it's hard on us & it's hard on her heart. So we are having to learn to use a hoyer lift. No fun!

Have FUN today!!!!

Good morning ~
Happy Tuesday!
It’s going to be a sunny and mild day with a high of 62 degrees. I don’t have too much going on, I’ll just be working on some chores around the house after I finish my cup of coffee. My youngest and I are going to the Chinese restaurant this afternoon for lunch and then we’re making a Target run afterward. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
Have fun with your youngest!! Enjoy your day!

Good Morning, Spooky Spectators!

And as spectators to the steady decline of our count, we get more and more spooked by the day at how close the holidays are drawing.

Just get a load of the latest data:
Days to Halloween: 8 (ONE WEEK from TOMORROW!!)
Days to the Season: 21 (Three weeks from TODAY!)
Days to Christmas Day: 63 (Nine weeks from today!)
Those numbers are disappearing so fast!
<< How fast are they disappearing, Crown? >>
They are disappearing faster than a fresh, hot batch of fired twinkies on a busy day at the Shispering Pines!

A brief warming trend is underway and we got well into the 60's yesterday with 71 the predicted high for today. There should be plenty of sun, too.
Our present thermometer reading here in the capital city is a still chilly 47 degrees.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!
Thanks crown! Enjoy your warmer day!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I played in a golf tournament yesterday, and it was a BEAUTIFUL day! I didn't always hit the ball straight, but who cares LOL.

Now I have to hit the floor running. I'm still trying to finish-up Elizabeth's play props, and Nancy keeps adding stuff to it. I've been painting since Sunday afternoon, and we still have stuff to paint.

I've had a meeting in 10 minutes, then a customer tour at 10am. Sooner or later, I've got to get something done!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Hope you are able to get caught up!! Have a great day Brad!

Have a good day SFM!

Hello all! I haven’t logged in for a few weeks and know the season is getting closer, so I wanted to catch up!

Not much new here - just busy like usual, especially with the kids. It’s that time of the year whenever I get a free minute, it’s spent with the family. We’ve been doing a lot of fall activities and having a lot of fun!

I think tonight, we will do a Halloween movie night. We haven’t had much time to do this together yet, so that’s my plan. Thursday is Trick-or-Treat. This night is very special in my house. Since it’s not an official work holiday, I’m ever to take it off every year and make it very special for the kids. The whole day is a blast. I make them a special breakfast and while they’re at school, I bake a special treat, and have a themed dinner for them when they get home. I decorate a ton anyways, but when they get home from school, I have the house even decorated more, have music and tv Halloween themes playing, and have a mini party for them. We play themed games and have a great time. We go trick-or-treating with a crowd from our neighborhood and then come home and watch Charlie Brown with candy and popcorn. The kids have school off the next day, so this makes it nice - they can stay up later. I’m really looking forward it!

I hope all is well with you all and that you’re having a great day so far!

Made-We're coming to Indy in two weeks for a BOA band competition at Colt's stadium. I feel completely overwhelmed and I hope we don't freeze to death getting back and forth from the hotel to the competition! I've never been to Indiana, so I can check another State off my list.

Someone asked if we had real or artificial trees: We do artificial and I still am vacuuming up needles in June!

I started signing Christmas cards last night while DD & I were watching tv. I love sending cards and doing them a few at a time keeps it from being an overwhelming task.
