Well, Thanksgiving is just about an hour away from being officially over. So,
I think we should all go in the fridge, get the leftovers out and make a Turkey, dressing and cranberry sandwich!
Tomorrow, turkey breakfast, turkey lunch and turkey dinner!

Good morning everyone! I hope everybody survived their Thanksgiving dinners and late night 2nds or 3rds? We watched the new Netflix Christmas movie with Kurt Russell, I found it to be a enjoyable change of pace. Black Friday!! Going to sit it out and online shop today.
Happy Black Friday MMC! It's another COLD one out there. Temperature is currently 11 degrees. The sun is out though and so are the shoppers. I'll be going in a few hours. I hope it won't be terrible like the last few years due to online shopping. It seems Black Friday can be more enjoyable now than it used to be. Good luck shopping whether it be online or in stores!
Good Friday morning! Another very cold one today but temperatures will go up starting tomorrow. Black Friday was never really a thing in the province of Québec until a couple of years ago, when retailers realized they were losing sales to US retailers and jumped on the bandwagon. It seems that this year it's going to be a big deal, so I'll be avoiding stores and will browse deals online, to see if I find anything interesting. I'll do some more baking and am planning on going through my drawers and closet to give away clothes that I no longer wear. I also want to watch Crazy Rich Asians. I know it's not David's type of movie so might as well watch it when he's at work. Have a great day everyone!
Good morning and Happy Black Friday to all the shoppers! I don’t really have much to buy today. My niece turns one if a few weeks, so I want to maybe get her a few more things and DH and I are looking to get a new MacBook, so I’ll be searching online for those deals today.
Waiting for DH to get home from work. He phoned me around 11 pm last night and said they had a bad dwelling fire - they lost 2 homes. Some of the houses are very close together here in the city and catch very quickly. I don’t know much yet, but just know that he said that both houses were going when they got on scene, which always shocks me - how does this happen whenever they are on scene within minutes of the call and it happens where so many people are? Fire travels fast though and spreads quickly. It’s so sad, especially over the holidays. It was very cold here last night, which makes it dangerous for them, with water freezing and making it icy, as well as it just being very cold to be out in all night. I know when he called me, he said they had went back to station for a few to warm up and then were going back, expecting to be out all night. I’m sure he’ll sleep good today.
Well, I’m going to get another cup of coffee, try to stay warm, and watch Hallmark, praying DH comes home soon, since he heads back in to work at 4 pm this evening.

Good Post-Thanksgiving/Pre-Christmas Morning, Good Friends.
Yes, Thanksgiving was yesterday (and I hope everyone had a good one) but Christmas is still pending, as shown by our now single-line count.
Days to Christmas Day: 32 (ONE MONTH from the day after tomorrow!)
(And that isn't long, my little pretties. It isn't long! We can't wait forever to get to that day!)
Chilly weather yesterday will be replace by cold weather today and we have started it at 32 degrees, here. We have an 80 percent chance of precipitation tonight.
Have Fabulous Friday Friends, regardless as to whether or not it's black.

Brrrrrrr! I had to turn the thermostat up first thing this morning after I got up. I had it on 65 and it was comfortable while I was under the covers, but now that I’m up, it’s chilly. The thermometer reads 16 degrees f at the moment outside, but the sun is starting to crest over the hilltops now and it’s starting to shine on the house here which will help heat it up some too!
I guess that Black Friday is now in the full people crazy shopping mode and for me, I stay away from all that. If I need to do any shopping, just for some bargains, I’ll do it from the comfort and safety of my home, on-line as I’m eating turkey leftovers!

I don’t have too much going on this morning, just relaxing and catching up with the laundry. Today is my oldest daughters birthday, we’re going out for dinner later this evening to celebrate. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

It’s always sad to hear of a house fire, its even worse when additional dwellings are involved. I feel awful for those poor families that have lost everything.
I’m glad for you and your family that he’s safe and will be home soon. Thanks, prayers and many appreciations to all of our first responders!!!

It is so sad. Turns out thankfully, the houses were vacant, but still, it is a scary situation and could have been so much worse. He is sleeping sound now.

Happy Black Friday. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. We did! House full of family, hearing the cousins play and laugh, great food. Went shoppig last night and again frist thing rhis morning.We are alsmost done our Christmas shopping now 
I would really love to take a nap right now but I think I will make a pot of coffee, get everything put away and take down the fall, thanksgiving decorations so we can decorate for Christmas. Have a great day!
