I'm glad I was able to be at home, too! LB (Little Bad) Wan Kenobi, went missing during the storm, but showed up this evening, quite hungry. So happy he is home!
Several pine branches have fallen in the areas that are kept mowed, so there is a lot of clean-up to do. All in all, we fared quite well!

Good afternoon to everybody. It has been a weird weather day for us, rain all night and snow this morning with winds. We are currently under a extreme winter watch for 12" of snow possible. Hope everyone has a great rest of there Tuesday.

So excited! TCM is showing "White Christmas" in select theaters, and it's coming to our local theater! Yes, I got tickets! And it's one of those cinemas with reclining seats where you can order food that is delivered to your seat. That is gonna be a fun night out!

Merry Monday!

Woke up to a major snow storm blowing through the woods. It was gorgeous out and made me want to go on a sleigh ride.

Ended up with 10 inches or more of snow and several fallen tree limbs. Lost electricity for over five hours so that set me way back on all my projects scheduled for today. At least I was home and not out and about in all the mess! I watched it snow and snuggled with Palmer, so it was a very good day!

car will be fixed today, pick up after work, which means taking the city bus to work this morning. Actually, I don't mind that as I always see so many folks I know on there.
still working on last minute items for wedding, which is only 4 days away !

Good morning MMC!! I'm at the old job this morning again! I'll be heading to the new job probably later this morning & for the afternoon.
Don't tell, but I played hooky yesterday afternoon from the new job. My computer there isn't working after an update so they told me I could stay at my old job....the old job thought I was at the new job, so I stayed home & ..... PUT UP MY TREE!!!

It was so nice!! But shhhhhh, don't tell!!! I needed that!! Between cleaning out mom/dads house & finding a place at our house for all of the things we are bringing home & all of our funeral gifts - & trying to get caught up at work & trying to get caught up at home, I was stressing about when I was going to have time to put it up! It took me over 6 hours to put up & it is just up with lights, no decorations....but it's up! YAY!!! And I don't have any other decorations up yet either, but I'll get there - eventually!!!

Last night our friend/neighbor brought over a beautiful Christmas pine/cedar centerpiece with a Swarovski crystal snowflake hanging from it & a note that said "snowflakes are kisses from heaven" - and it was snowing outside. Darn she got me going again! Her & I both share a love of Christmas & snow! It was perfect! ♥

Good evening, MMC friends! I haven't really got to check in for the last two days, but I finally got caught up! I'm posting from my new MacBook. It's a little hard getting used to, but I'm coming along quickly. We have iPhone, iPads, Apple Watch, so naturally, we figured it was time to get a Apple laptop as well. I'm loving the product so far!

Today is my day off and I'm just watching Hallmark. It's supposed to snow here 3-6 inches tonight. I haven't sat in my hot tub for quite a while, so I think I may do that tonight and watch the snow fall.

My best friend and I ordered tickets to see the Backstreet boys in August. We are 30 but want to feel like we are 15.
Please keep Mikes aunt, uncle and cousin in your prayers as it is difficult for them with their son/brother now at boot camp. I am glad he was able to fulfill his dream. After his sister passed last year we never thought he would go.
Tonight will be Christmas movies and Christmas books

Good Pines Day MMC! 2nd week in a row it's Friday for me. I'm off the rest of the week and then a 3 week run to Christmas break. Plan on finishing my Christmas shopping by the weekend. More rain is coming this weekend too. I don't think I'm going to do much other than focus on Christmas stuff on my days off. What a wonderful thing to do. Have a great Pines Day!
