Good Morning, Guys.
Wake up and smell the coff.....er.....tea and that warm fired twinkie.
Sit back and open your copy of the latest edition of The Daily Count and get yourselves all up to date on the latest data.

Here we go:
Days to the Season: 50
Days to Christmas Day: 92

And Folks, TOMORROW will see us to the 3/4 marker to Christmas Day itself, with only the Home Stretch Milestones remaining!
(Where has the year gone and why has it gone there so fast?)

Warm and humid yesterday but it did not really feel like the heart of summer.
Similar conditions should prevail for the remainder of this week.
Our present day-commencing temperature here in the capital city is 70 degrees.

I hope everyone had a Fantastic First Fall day yesterday and will have a Totally Terrific Tuesday, Today!

Thanks Crown! Happy Last Week of September!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

We had a great parade yesterday! It was much bigger than I expected it to be. We had 25 floats, and police cars and fire trucks. Mama came over to watch, and she brought my brother and his 2 year old, Rosa. It was her first parade and she loved it! Jim and I picked up a sack full of candy that the people on the floats threw out to her. Lots of fun!

And I'm feeling much better. Just in time, too; we're going out for Addams Family Pancakes at IHOP tomorrow night.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

TOMORROW, you say, Crown?

It really seems like everything is blossoming at the right time. Say, could anything blossom tomorrow?

Tomorrow when I leave for work, they are saying it will be 59 degrees.

MAGIC. ABSOLUTE MAGIC.

However, Saturday it is supposed to be 98.

Die, Summer.
It was 54 when I left for work this morning - supposed to be 53 tomorrow morning & 49 by Thursday morning! But then a heat wave comes back. I can't say I hate the warmer temps, so I won't complain, but I do love fall temps too! :) Enjoy!!!

Thanks so much! I can't wait! I've been lurking all these years thinking I wasn't "allowed" to post unless I bought a membership. Duh to me lol! I finally figured it out. I've had ever so much fun ever since! I think I might ask for the 13th off, too. Great idea! Is that your feral kitty in your picture! He looks quite royal! Thanks for info!

Welcome!!!

Here I am checking posts and eating dinner at the same time. I'm having sliced turkey and sliced potatoes (like scalloped only without all the sauce). I offered a sliver of turkey to O'Malley and he hesitated. I said, "If you don't like turkey, you can't come to the Pines; unless you're a vegetarian, Carl may revoke your membership." He said, "Maaaaw" and ate the turkey. He's a committed Christmas turkey just like his ma.

I won't get much time for posting in the morning, but will make it this way for before the gathering at our favourite INN.

Stay Jolly -lights-

Good Morning; Happy Hump/Pines/Milestone Day -santa-

I'm working longer hours today and tomorrow which will interfere with my merry fun a bit, but not much.

Expecting rain until Sunday; I don't care for that weather report since I'm off on Friday I was hoping to go hiking with my camera to grab up some Fall photos.

It's not raining yet, but expected for the afternoon.

Trying out some Folgers carmel flavoured coffee this morning.

The best part of waking up, is a taste of Christmas in your cup.

See y'all at the Shispering Pines; I just might sample the brew-blend.

Keep a merry thought in your head -surprise-

Happy Late September MMC! It's Rudolph Day #9 already. Geez. Not many left huh? We have a nice day again here. We've had hardly any rain this month of September. It's been the nicest weather month of the year. Have a great Late September Rudolph Day #9!

What's a Rudolph day? It sounds FUN. And what is the "Christmas Blossom" that everyone mentions from time to time? Could someone be so kind to answer a question for a NEWB, or provide me a link for me to do my own research? Thanks friends
