Merry Morning all y'all bunch of "bers" and Christmas lovers! :snowball

The tunes at the Pines were wonderful

O'Malley was hiding out in his box fort until the festivities were underway.

The fireworks for the finale of Carl's fancy foot work entertainment were awesome.

I was admiring my Donna Reed look-alike prize this morning. It's very sparkly and looks like a lasso around the moon on a trophy stand.

See you next week. +d

Happy October Looming! Can't believe in 5 days we start one of my favorite months of the year. Halloween time is coming. We have a warmer day today but it looks like we have mostly this pattern until next Thursday. Then there is supposed to be a change and I think that will be the end of shorts for me until May. Have a great October Looming Day!

I was in Maggie Valley today. Had breakfast at Buttered Biscuit then walked it off on the Lake Junaluska lake trail.
You are living my dream, my friend! #imsojealous #youresoblessed
:D

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I took Nancy's car to get the oil changed yesterday afternoon, then we met our niece and her two boys at IHOP for Addams Family Pancakes. They were super! And super-sweet with all that cupcake icing and whipped cream. It was just about too much sweet for me, I have to say. Whew!

Tonight we're taking Jacob & Elizabeth to dinner.

Nancy and I are still planning a trip to the mountains this weekend (right where @mgramsey was yesterday). I can't wait to enjoy those cooler temperatures. It was 100° here yesterday, and it's supposed to be again, today. Ugh.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning, Happy Home Stretch Hopers.
<< "Home Stretch Hopers, Crown? What's that all about? >>
You'll see shortly!

On to today's figures:
Days to the Season: 48
Days to Christmas Day: 90

And as you are all aware, once the 75% Christmas Day marker has been passed, there is only one, lone Milestone left between us and the beginning of Christmas Season 2019.
It's the NINETY PERCENT HOME STRETCH marker to the Season and it stands now just ELEVEN days down the long road, which doesn't seem so long anymore.
SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!
(And I thought the last Milestone was incredible.)
90%. Just let that sink in a bit -- if you dare!

Warm, but relatively comfortable days here of recent thanks to the not-too-high humidity. Plenty of sun and no rain.
Our over-the-hump starting temperature here is 73 degrees.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Christmas Seekers!

(Oh, and get those photos ready. I can smell it in the air. Christmas blossoms are just about to start blooming!)

Good Thursday morning! Rain is moving in but temperatures are still very comfortable. A day off today filled with errands to run and chores to do. I also am working on a couple of projects for work, which can only be done at home on my computer, as at work we don't have any good enough software to make documents nor do we have a colour printer. I should be able to get everything done by early afternoon so I can enjoy the rest of my day off. Have a great day everyone!

Merry Monday +d It's a four-day work wee for me.

Got my chores done yesterday. Never left home; it was drizzling and pouring throughout the day. Still raining, not expected to clear up until Thursday.

O'Malley ate his breakfast this morning and it included his medicine so hopefully if I continue to mix it with his moist food instead of his soft treat, he'll get it into him.

Next weekend, I have to check my Christmas cupboard and see what I've got and who might be receiving what. I had thoughts when I bought things on or about the 24th & 25th of the month. Finding a few ornaments while I was in Nova Scotia was a merry little bonus. The trip to Christmas Thyme in Huntsville yielded a good harvesting of merry treasures.

I picked up a few special stamps as well as I plan on sending my Christmas cards to my grandma's former neighbour on Christmas Island who will put the seal on it for an added merry surprise.

Happy first day of Fall! I'll bet some chimneys are already being lit up.

Stay jolly! +h

Great news! Hope this continues for O’Malley!

Good First Day of Fall, Christmas friends!

I'm actually not feeling too hot today, not sure what's going on. I spent the weekend pressure-washing the house, and it looks pretty good!

Bellville is hosting a parade this afternoon for the local school's homecoming. I don't know why we're doing it on a Monday instead of a Friday, but it should be fun, anyway.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Hope you’re feeling better by now, Brad or starting to turn around!

Tomorrow when I leave for work, they are saying it will be 59 degrees.

MAGIC. ABSOLUTE MAGIC.

However, Saturday it is supposed to be 98.

Die, Summer.

I was so glad to get home to the PA weather of 60-70’s from Florida. It was killer with not much breeze and middle 90’s. I definitely never want to move there! Lol

I seriously think we need to think of something to do in place of Darlene Love Night. Not that it can be replaced, but you can't replace the time we get to spend here live together.

I couldn’t agree more! I loved when we all got together!

Good Morning, Milestone Piners!
(Or should I have said "Milestone 'Pinesers"?)

Yes, Folks. Not only is it a Milestone Day, it's also 'Pines open house Wednesday and Carl couldn't be more delighted!
(But a discussion of our zany camel will have to wait until the statistics are presented.)

Days to the Season: 49
Days to Christmas Day: 91

Here we are, Guys. At the THREE-QUARTER MARK TO CHRISTMAS DAY!
And the only thing to look for now before the Season arrives is the 90 percent, Home Stretch point.
(Holy Moly, we've covered a lot of ground!)

We are back into a semi-summer mode for the foreseeable future with rather warm, dry days but not overly high humidity.
Our center day of the week has begun here at 66 degrees, headed for the upper 80's by afternoon.

OK. By now you know how our friendly activities director gets when open houses fall on Milestone Days. Get ready for some extra wild entertainment and great deals on fired twinkies and Carl's special tea blends.
Could the fact that we are 75 percent of the way to Christmas mean there might be 75 percent discounts on some of the gift shop merchandise? Show up this evening and see for yourselves!

In the meantime, have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends!

Happy Belated Milestone Day, Crown and MMC friends!
