Good Morning, Season Closers!
And we are indeed closing on Christmas Season 2019, as today's chart numbers will reveal.
Let's inspect them right away.

Days to the Season: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 26 (Moving in on 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 53 (Just over 7 1/2 weeks left!)
(Like sand through the hour glass........)

Chilly yesterday but no further rain fell. It was plenty damp though, from Thursday's rainfall.
Today is starting off downright cold at 41 degrees, headed for a predicted afternoon high of 63.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Friends!

Thanks Crown! Happy November Weekend!

Good morning, Christmas friends! Halloween was a success in our household. Yesterday, we went out and ate...kinda in limbo between the seasons.

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. The first Saturday of November is
Christmas Tree Day in our house. We set up the tree, put on the decorations, have a good meal as a family, and watch a Christmas movie. The tree is out of the box laying in the floor...and my girls can't stop squealing about it.

Got up this morning about 5:00...went outside and started a fire....and played Christmas music. The first song....White Christmas. I could feel my heart smiling.

I loved reading this! One of the main reasons I logged on was to see if anyone has started decorating for Christmas yet now that it’s November! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Good Morning. Another nice morning in SoCal with an ugh afternoon as the temps will reach 85. Fall has been dismantled and is ready to pack away. As the Fall crates (3) go in the Christmas boxes (25) will come out.

Whew! That sounds promising.

When my mom and husband weren't interested in eating; we managed to get them to take in some smoothies and/or boost to make sure they had proper nutrients.

Yes, it does sound promising. With all the good news/bad news of late it was very nice to hear!
He was eating pudding yesterday to help the pills go down, so a smoothie just might be in his future. :)

I've been up since 3:30 and ready for a nap.

It's snowing again - light, but steady. :shiver

Sometimes it's nice to have snow when I'm browsing at the Christmas Craft Show.

My car is getting the snow tires put on with rims on Nov. 15th. I have really good tires with the best treads so I never bothered (they aren't all weather), but last year I found myself slipping too much for my liking so I'm going to make the switch.

Have a super Saturday! :lightman

Have fun at the bazaar!

Merry Saturday!

Woke way too early with a major coughing episode, so I am glad I am home this weekend. I promised my cousin I would wait with her at the hospital next week while her husband has hip surgery, so I want to get better before I go there.

It amazes me that it is already time to turn the clocks back an hour. Good timing in more ways than one! :)

Have a merry weekend, my friends!

Happy Weekend, everyone!

Had a day off yesterday, but darn little relaxation, and our Wi-Fi was out from Thursday night until midday today. I had a dental appointment, and was going back-and-forth with the cable company about getting the Wi-Fi fixed. And no TV, email, or Internet all day. So no MMC. Bleh.

BUT, I got some recording done, and the piano was tuned (yay! the holiday season begins!), so it wasn't a total loss. And as you can see, our Wi-Fi is back. But just to partially spoil my weekend, I got an email from the office to tell me to expect late nights on Monday and Tuesday. Ugh.

But hey, it'll be full-on Christmas music from now through New Year's, so that will help keep up the level of cheer!

Yay for full-on Christmas music but boo for working late on Monday and Tuesday! Have a merry weekend!

Sounds pretty perfect.

Today is a good day for Christmas shopping.

The large mall and strip mall parking lots were full like it was the weekend before Christmas.

Lots of folks with the same idea, I think.

I hit the Hallmark store and the Christmas bazaar and only have two 1 gift left - for my dad.

Good Saturday late-in-the-day! Can't believe we're only 8 Saturdays away from Christmas! I just started 9 days of staycation and it was truly a relaxing day where naps were on the menu. Tonight Daivd, Loki and I will snuggle up on the couch under blankets (it got really cold all of a sudden) and catch up on the dvr. Hope everyone is enjoying a great day!

Have fun at the bazaar!

It was fun; I chatted with a crafter who I dealt with last year; she was the only one in the main hall to get money from me; I even picked up something to add to my merry pedestal; downstairs I found something unique for my brother who does quite a bit of entertaining with music celebrities.

I picked up something for the Across the Creek Neighbour.

I was hesitating about going if I had to park at the back because only the front lot is paved - I remembered that last year it was quite mucky and with the drizzle it made it an unpleasant adventure. I got a spot on the side lot; still a bit gooey, but not as bad as the back.

The continuous light drizzle has resulted in our snow melting. There was so much of it that there is still evidence, but not on the streets.
