Boris

I shall advance with the utmost haste (at lunchtime!) to my source and try to establish some connection between rumour to fact about the eggnog latte. Of course, once I find out, they may kill me but it's a risk I'm prepared to take

I regret I have but one life to give for my latte...........

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

i will never forget the sacrifice/risk you took for our friendship!

i wait with baited breath!

yeah....I hardly stay quiet when I read a post from her....she has it with words....it´s great.....we would have a great laugh if we´d ever met.......some booze and MO would be a good night...haha We´d be laughing our a+....off

I just finished reading all your posts from last night and wish I could have been here to join you in the real-time countdown to the season.
(I fell asleep during BONES.)
I think the first Christmas forum I discovered on the www was at OrganizedChristmas.com. That was back in 2001. Then last year it was MagicalHolidayHome and this year I've added MMC to my Christmas party.
I've been told I need a 12-step meeting to get over my Christmas nut-i-ness.
Have a great day everyone!

Alright you Christmas crazies that kept me up late last night...I'm tired this morning!!! But it was worth it! That was fun! Thanks! And I can't believe we are here...IT'S THE SEASON!!!

Hope you all have a great day!!!

And good morning to my favorite band of brothers and sisters...A fun night was had by all counting down to our beloved season...And here we are, day one of the Season!!! Wahoo Doray...Dahoo Foray...or whatever it is that they say...

Good Morning Jayish! Good Morning Everyone!!! Thank you for the fabulous countdown last night! TIS THE SEASON! HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY!

6 weeks and counting....the time will fly by.

Our local Tim Horton's put their decorations on yesterday.
Decorations in our town are definetely becoming more and more noticeable.

Christmas is kicking into high gear now!

Yah!!

Cheers!!

Good Morning.

Wow! What an evening!
Participation was great and the Christmas Season was rung in in style.
(I counted 12, that's right, TWELVE posts placed precisely at midnight.
Incredible!)

A word to those in other time zones.
We in EST must apologize. There are so many of us, we tend to forget that some of our brothers and sisters are in other zones and realize you reach the big moment at another point. Thanks for being here, though! And I hope your Seasons also arrived with a flourish!

But friends, as we move into DAY ONE of our glorious 50-day-depth Season, the count goes on!!
Days to Christmas Day: 42 (Six weeks from today!)
Days to Thanksgiving Day: 14 (Two weeks from today!)

Much warmer (and cloudier) here this morning with our temp standing at 56.
Rain is a distinct possibility today.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, a Fantastic Friday Eve and a Dashing Day One of the Season!
If that Christmas song is not yet on your lips, better break our your favorite Christmas album and pump up on spirit!

(BTW, I got my 2 tree photos taken!
Will post them to the Christmas Blossoms thread shortly in honor of the start of the Season.)

Thanks for that Crown! I actually ended up being the last central timer still standing last night--then I missed the midnight mark because my computer froze up! But I enjoyed the time with you all before you had to head off to bed!
:nice:

Happy Holiday Season & Fantastic Friday Eve! Sorry, Miller4PlusMore, I had to log off arond 11:20 or so last night.

It was fun being on live for a few hours last night with my Christmas family, we now have 50 days of Christmas here and coming. To celebrate, latter today I'm stopping by Jack N the Box for a pumpkin milks shake, never had one, hope its good.

Anyway, happy day one and have a fantastic Friday eve, I may be MIA the next three days, going to Oklahoma for the weekend.

That's okay Casey! I realize people have to go to bed, unlike me who stayed up WAY too late last night....and I'm talking ridiculously late! The kids woke up at 6:30 am this morning to get ready for school (a first) so I was hurtin' !

Have a nice trip to Oklahoma!

it sounds like all of You had a great night.....how cool is that?....I wish Germans would start celebrating Christmas too....but then...thinking abouta it...they do...I`m sure to see the first outside decorations next week....the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmasmarket) will start in the last few days of November and I have already seen three different type of Christmas commercials.....I´m expecting them to become more in the next week.....so

Merry Christmas Season!!!

42 days to go

Can someone explain to me why November 13 was chosen to begin the season? I'm still scratching my head over that one. Why not something like the day after Thanksgiving, or the first of December?
