Contrary to what Hollywood and the media would like you to believe, there are plenty of sane people living in Southern California who joyfully celebrate Christmas (...of course, we'd all prefer to live somewhere where we're not surrounded by a small minority of loud, whiney, looney, leftist, Christmas-hating, Grinchlike, nanny-victocrats).
I got so fed-up with the sudden onslaught against Christmas that I began my own blog last year to vent, and I've felt much better ever since. I hope my efforts (there and here) contribute and help others discover the joy of Christmas, and embolden others to stand against the tide of crusading Grinches.
In researching a topic for my blog, I clicked a link that landed on a post by JanaBanana regarding "Holiday" trees. I only got halfway through reading it before I got so excited that I began poking around and quickly realized what a great forum this is, so I rushed to join. I'm looking forward to participating, and exploring all that this site offers...and I need to go back and finish reading that post too.
