DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 230
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 208
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 147

Happy Week Into April! Today folks we have 230 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 208 days to go until November, and 147 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be in a week + a day. And you can see it will be the 200-Day Marker Till November. We move ahead through our Super Spring here in April and heading towards a big holiday weekend. That is Easter of course. I know many of us are really looking forward to it and even comparing it, a bit to Thanksgiving. And it will be awesome. I hope for all of you it will be. We start off our 3-day weekend here in this thread with the quietness and relaxation of it. Oh and I heard that the NFL schedules will release around May 11th. That is the plan at least. Sometimes it moves up a week or back a week though. But it does look like it will hold off until May. No problem. I’m happy being in April. In fact, April feels like a great month but quiet. I kind of like that as I know that the month I just mentioned will have a lot of crazy insane milestones that will be huge turning points and the NFL Schedule most likely. And of course, I’m sure then we’ll start seeing a little more parade news too. Anyway, turkey fans I hope you all are having a great week thus far and are ready for another big day today. It’s Friday folks and a “Good Friday” to all of you and your family. Have a great Week Into April!

Today I am thankful for Easter. Our hope.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 229
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 207
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 146

Happy Easter Weekend! Today folks we have 229 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 207 days to go until November, and 146 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be 1 week from today folks and I think you all know what it will be. It will be the 200-Day Marker Till November. And it will be major. We move along in our Super Spring today folks on this Easter Weekend feeling good and positive about where we are. And moving along into Part 2 of 3 during our 3-day weekend here in this thread. Isn’t that nice? A nice and quiet time in this thread and a quiet/fun/nice Easter for everyone I hope. And definitely a few similarities to Thanksgiving don’t you think? I’m thinking turkey on Easter wouldn’t be such a bad thing but we go the lasagna route. Can’t lose either way can you? Anyway, turkey fans I hope you are all doing well after a long week and are ready for your weekend as much as I am. And I hope you’re all enjoying your time with your family and dreaming of Thanksgiving. But of course, we all know in this thread we’re in NO RUSH to get anywhere near there. Not even to The Bers folks which we still have a very (very) long way to go. Spring has sprung quickly this year and I’m good with that. Winteless Winter is behind us. And now baseball, Easter, spring, and great times ahead. Have a great Easter Weekend!

It will be a quiet brunch here tomorrow, and even though I didn't love it growing up, I wish I would have bought some ham salad to have for lunches next week! Maybe I'll make egg salad instead, we always seemed to have one, or both in abundance the week after Easter!

My youngest granddaughter thinks it can't be Easter dinner if we don't have deviled eggs. My oldest daughter says she doesn't like deviled eggs except Mom's. I put some of the whites as well as yolks in and add celery and pickles so it is more like egg white shells stuffed with egg salad. That is the way my mother made it and I didn't know until I was a grown up that this isn't how everyone makes them.

I have been focusing on the resurrection scriptures this week and it really gets me focused on what I want to be remembering about Easter and that definitely gives me Thanksgiving feels. I also enjoy the fun side. This year I ordered a special food treat for my kids that we typically only get at Christmas. They came a day early so they got their Eater on Good Friday--they didn't seem to mind.

That sounds delicious!

Good Morning and Happy Easter to all!

Yesterday, because of the cool weather, I was doing most of the yard work in a sweatshirt. This made me feel exactly like some of the "last" cuts of the year when the work outside is mostly using the trimmer and doing leaf cleanup. And when I got to the back yard, smells of the Easter food being prepared wafted into the air and I could smell the apple pie being baked, as well as the unmistakable smell of collard greens - which is a major staple of our Thanksgiving spread.

Folks today I know is Easter, but I think the "Feels" are going to be the same as Thanksgiving. It will be lovely. Even the weather is cooperating. We are on a slow climb to 60 degrees, which is just about as "Bers" as it can get.

I wish you all a safe and happy Easter!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 228
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 206
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 145

Happy Easter! Today folks we move ahead and continue our 3-day quiet period in this thread with the following counts on a major holiday (Easter): 228 to Thanksgiving, 206 to November, and 145 to The Bers. Our next milestone will be on Saturday. Saturday is far away from now isn’t it? Well it seems that way with a full 5-day work week between today and then ahead of us. We move ahead in our Super Spring with a big turning point today being Easter. You all know that April is a very important month here because it feels relaxing. It’s spring. It’s not too cold or too hot. The holidays are far away. The Bers are still a long way from now. Winter is behind us. We’re kind of in a good spot I think in April. Let’s hope April continues to give us good vibes. And turkey fans I hope you all enjoy your Easter whether you are having ham, turkey, lasagna or something else. Maybe prime rib? It doesn’t matter as long as you get to have a good time with family/friends and some good food too. Keep it real turkey fans and I hope you’re all enjoying your special weekend. Have a great time today and I’ll talk to you all on Monday with our new April week of special posts going on Monday through Thursday. Have a great and Happy Easter!
