For the most part I agree. We usually get one last snow storm the first part of April--we had flurries yesterday so maybe not this year.

I think those flurries are going to be by me tomorrow!

I have shifted from thinking about Thanksgiving Desserts to Thanksgiving Breakfasts!

Pumpkin French Toast Casserole

Our pumpkin French toast casserole combines cinnamon-raisin bread, cream cheese and fall spices with canned pumpkin. Prep the casserole in the evening so you can pop it in the oven when you wake up.

I made three dozen deviled eggs and not a one was left over for breakfast the next day.

We have a few Thanksgiving dry runs during the year to see what changes we like to make for Thanksgiving day. So far, no more boxed stuffing, but homemade. Also, no more creamy corn or corn at all, but vegetable medley instead. We also nixed the whole turkey and have turkey breast instead.

Happy April Mid-Week! Today folks we have 239 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 212 days left until November, and 151 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be tomorrow when we reach the 150-Day Marker till The Bers. It will be a big one folks for sure. We move along in our Super Spring on this Weekly Wednesday Poll day which will be listed below for all of you!

Which month reminds you the most of November?​

• April (it feels a bit like November weather)​
• May (halfway to November)​
• October (the month leading up to it)​
• December (the month coming out of it and being in the holiday season)​
• I’m going to go with B. I know that sounds a little strange but really Thanksgiving is on my mind a lot in May because of all the halfway stuff. October is 100% Halloween mode to me. December is 100% Christmas mode. That’s why I choose May where nothing like that is happening. What do you think turkey friends? Have a great April Mid-Week!​

Also B. April is for Halfoween/Spooky Spring. May is for Halfsgiving!

OK odd one out here .. I am going with April, especially with the weather we have been having the past few days. Chilly/Borderline cold, rainy, Yesterday reminded me of a Cold raining November day. May has more warmer days like October. Plus May has Memorial Day which is the unofficial kick off to summer.
