Good evening! It was 50º today! Felt like a spring day - what a tease! I think we are supposed to get snow by the weekend! But that's ok! I just wish it would stay cold rather than this up & down stuff - everybody's sick!! YUCK!!!

Hope you all had a great HUMP DAY!!! Yay for hump day! What a view to the weekend! :D

Coffee for Lent? OMG ummm no.

YABBA

I thought about giving coffee up for lent, but I just don't want too!!!!!!!! I figure if I gave up coffee I would start drinking diet pop & that's probably worse! Gotta have my java in the mornin!

I told my boss I was giving up meetings for lent...she wouldn't allow it.:-?

for those who think whining is a waste of time...

I have been whining about the snow :-? and this morning woke up to +2c! It is going to rain most of the day (that should be fun for the group I have to take out to a farm this afternoon!) and rain again tomorrow with a high of +9c!(48f) yeahhh!!

Good Morning, Friends and Christmas Neighbors!

Wow! What a posting frenzy yesterday!
With under 15 posts to go to 1,000, I am no longer concerned we won't reach that point by the end of the month.

Speaking of the end of the month, what happens then?
Well, I think you know - we arrive at the 300-Day Christmas Day window!
Days to the Season: 260
Days to Christmas Day:302

Hey! THREE reasons to celebrate: The 300 mark, the end of the month and the start of the weekend, all on the same day!
Let's raise a glass of iced tea in toast (or maybe with toast - but definitely not with cough-ee)!

Chilly again here, with our temp standing at 37. HOWEVER, 60's are expected for today and tomorrow, with today being the dry one. Good window of opportunity to get some outside work done.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Friends.
It's Friday Eve again!

wow....we will have a thousand posts within two months....that´s really, really cool.....Spring is on its way....and I am sure happy bout it now...even tho I love Winter....it´s great to see the first signs of spring....I love all the seasons

:snowball: More snow coming this way overnight, but the temps today were mild enough to make snow sculptures. Unfortunately, I had to work.

I think O'Malley had time to make a fort though.

How come he gets to have all the fun?:-? And what a silly name for a snowfort.

:hello: I have the day off tomorrow. Looking at a three-day weekend and hoping for some nice weather - blue sky - for the last of my winter photo ops.

So, I was tidying up the office a bit before I left and I looked into my mail slot and said, "okay it's time" and I gathered up my Christmas cards so I can tuck them away in my Santa Gift Box to bring out with the others on the 24th or 25th of the month to read again.

Eventually, I think I'll make a scrapbook with all my cards. I'm always amazed how I rarely receive a duplicate card.

I am fairly new to MMC, and I have been reading the posts, hoping to keep up with the countdown. I am originally from NC--in fact from a small town of McAdenville, noted as Christmas Town, USA on the town signs. It is between Charlotte and Gastonia. Hope we make it to 1000 soon!

:merry:

I forgot to mention that I LOVE coffee and drink it all day long. I even have a Bunn coffeemaker in my classroom.

:merry:

And another thing on the way to 1000--I like to sleep on comfy mattresses, but I don't really sleep a lot. I go to bed before 10:00 p.m. and get up by 4:00 or 4:45 a.m. at the latest.

:merry:

Oh, I forgot about my experience yesterday. If you know anything about Wal-Mart and other retail stores, you may know that if you are a known shoplifter, the personnel at the store can ask you to leave. Anyway, yesterday I went to JC Penney's in the mall in Chico, CA and one of the store clerks yelled at me and said I had to leave the store. Then I heard a loudspeaker loudly (duh!) proclaiming there was a bomb threat at the mall and everyone had to evacuate immediately. Funny thing. I didn't remember I was a shoplifter!! Man, I dropped that red sweater and skyed out of there!

:merry:

I will have to admit that I have not put away the Christmas cards I received from our card exchange. I think I will scrapbook them.

Hi, my name is Cherylle, and I'm a Christmasholic. I still have my Christmas tablecloth on my scrapbooking/dining table. I can't force my self to put it away! All right, all right. I get to it this weekend. One year, though, I left my tree (artificial) up until March! But it was only that one time, honest.

And now we are at 1000. I also wanted to say that my husband and I saw a house on Sunday with Christmas lights lit early in the morning, just a little after 5:00 a.m.
