Good afternoon, all!! Hope your day is going well. Monitoring the basement - the flooding has slowed, but we are supposed to get more rain on Thursday and Friday. Been cleaning house this morning and am waiting for the floor to dry. Taking a long time because the humidity is way up there.
Big weather difference today here in Maryland from yesterday..was 95 degrees and today its 60 and cloudy..some rain showers. Feels nice though... Im sitting here at work with a hot chocolate cheesy
Wish I could be listening to some Christmas music..but Im working...still enjoying this website though!

That really sucks! I hope that the raining stops because I know how much of a pain that flooded basement can be. I hate rain!
Kind of a dreary day here today. A lot cooler than it has been with rain off and on. My aunt just informed me that her husband is in kidney failure. He went in for a knee replacement 2 days ago and now he's in kidney failure. They are hoping for them to restart if they put the catheter back in but, that might not happen. He's about 66 years old. Please send prayers her way. Thank you all.
Glad you're back! Hope everything is ok!
Prayers sent. I hope they can get the kidneys restarted. My little brother suffered kidney failure four years ago from Lupus.

Meceka, good luck on the basement...our rain has slowed to scattered, but not done yet....
Santa's Helper...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....as I'm sure you all have been reading about the swine flu etc etc....health is such fragile thing....we should count our blessings. Each day is a gift....that none should ever take for granted. Sometimes when I share my love for Christmas, people will say you are just wishing your life away wishing for Christmas to get here....but to me, as well as all of us, Christmas isn't a season for me....it's a feeling...one that I try to maintain year round....it's that kinda attitude about that gives us a more uplifting personality....only if everybody could be as lucky, right, and smart as we are.....wow....that came from out of nowhere, but Santa's Helper...I'm praying for your family (kinda took the long route on that one).
Well, baseball team won today! YAY! We now move on to state tourney...going to be a fun few days (if it quits raining)!
