My wife thinks I'm crazy for starting with the outside lights the first week of November LOL!

Right there with you but for us it's some of extended family who thinks we are crazy for putting up our lights in mid Nov. Our neighborhood is right on the Delaware River and our house is very close to the river so when the winds kick up it gets very windy at our house. Not good when you are on a ladder trying to put up lights so we start ours while the weather is still good.
We do not turn on the lights until Thanksgiving night though.

I'm with you! I work in a mall at Christmas, so a lot of the times the month of December is completely lost on me. First tree goes up on Nov. 1 and the lights go up the first weekend of November. I love the season!

Chilly morning in Western Wisconsin today. Should hit about 70 for a high.

Only 156 days until the Christmas season. And to think, it is only about 110 days until my wife will put up the halloween decor. The day we take those down I'll be able to pick up Christmas classics on the oldies station.

Good morning Christmas pals! I started watching Christmas Cottage last night, but coudln't keep my eyes open. I really need to start watching before 10 pm! Lol! So far I really like the movie - it's different than I thought it would be!! Can't wait to watch the rest! Maybe tonight?!?!

Today was a nice cool day in Northern California. My husband and I were coming back from an Elks event in Yreka and drove by Mt. Shasta. It still has snow except for the lower portion and looked beautiful. Thinking of how quickly the days are passing, I could almost believe it was Christmas!

I had to go to the dentist yesterday because of a toothache on upper and lower left jaw. The dentist couldn't find any cavities. He checked me out and then said I will probably have to wear braces!!! What is this business of getting older? I am in my early 60s and my teeth appear straight, but my jaw is misaligned and I had no idea!! I go to the orthodontist next week. Maybe they will do plastic surgery at the same time so I can look like a school kid with braces! Tehe!

I´m getting ready to leave with Kandice today, to my grandparent´s.....
It´s their 60th Wedding Anniversary....they have been married for 60 years today....just such a big number....I love them so much and will take pictures today and post them later...maybe....I will take a picture of the actual weeding picture to show how they changed...

Good Thursday morning, everyone!

I worked on my side-business last night till around 9pm. When I got home, Nancy and the kids had a full dinner ready for me: grilled chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, fresh corn on the cob, fresh squash and mac & cheese (compliments of my beautiful daughter!).

I was expecting a sandwich and a glass of tea, so that was a wonderful surprise!

It's going to be hot again today, low 90's & clear.
