Good morning all! I'm here at work on my lunch break. Not too bad of a night although my allergies are acting up and it's making my eyes feel very tired. Sneezing a lot too. Can't wait to go home and curl up on the couch and watch some tv with my dog. Have a good day everyone.

I did some number crunching and if we do want to make the 10,000 posts by Christmas, we will have to make about 44 posts every day until then.

and am sitting on our new couch......tonight we slept in our new bed...(it is a convertible couch from my grandparents...but it´s awesom)

sounds nice! I used to have one of those, used it when ever we had company, it was a very comfortable piece of furniture. I miss that thing!

It's a beautiful day here too - they are saying hot & muggy later on!! I guess it IS July!! :smile: I went for a walk this morning & it was just awesome!! Now I'm at work having a yummy coffee!!!

Sunny and calm here in Raleigh at this hour.
Had a brief rain yesterday afternoon but it was dry for the most part.
Our high reached into the mid-90's although the humidity was not intolerably high.
We stand currently at 72, with a good chance for additional rain today.

Days to Christmas Day:150
One week from tomorrow = the 100-Day milestone.

100 days from tomorrow?! That makes plenty more reasons to be excited for hump day. It's supposed to get up to about 95 with the humidex here today, but it is forecasted to be a muggy day with a chance of thundershowers and at least rain. That is certainly nothing new for this summer in Ottawa. Enjoy your Tuesday, everyone.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!

Things are getting back to normal around here. The kids have a few more weeks of summertime, then it's back to school. I don't know who's dreading school more, the kids or us. Homework has gotten out-of-control. Hours of homework daily, weekend and holiday homework...whew.

Well, I don't want to think about that now.

I think it's 100 days from a week after tomorrow, but if we can hurry it up, that sounds good to me!

I can't believe it is just 150 days until Christmas! I'm trying to catch up on the countdown. We're having horrible internet problems and I wasn't able to get online at all this weekend to help celebrate Christmas in July!

We had a beautiful weekend here weather wise and I enjoyed listening to Christmas music all day Saturday as a local station was playing it all day for Christmas in July. It was so lovely! I spent some time organizing some stuff in my craft room so that I know where to get started. I also was able to watch A Christmas Story during my daughter's naptime (the only time of day that Veggie Tales doesn't own our tv) and while I watched I started gift lists so that I know what kind of bargains to start watching for.

I also planned my Christmas calendar for the year, including the cleaning and shopping schedule that I need to follow from now until the holidays. I've got activities planned for November and December. I tried to keep it realistic this year. In the past I've tried to plan everything and it just never seems to happen. I work in a mall at Christmas time, so I'm of course super busy and stressed out. I get so overwhelmed and then end up doing nothing! So this year, I've kept things light so that I can actually enjoy these things and not stress so much.

Oh and I made official plans to be in Branson for the kick off to the Season!!! So 108 days until Branson and the official start of the Christmas season! YAY!

I bought a winter coat in a charity shop today. It's long and white and has fur all inside it and around the edges. I tried it on and had to buy it, firstly because it was 4 pounds (wow) and secondly because it made me feel all wintery and cosy

I'm also liking the decline in sunny weather. I'm sitting here in a big fluffy dressing gown with a fire on next to me, watching the rain and feeling quite content, until I remind myself it's not even August yet. Boooo!
