Good Morning all....Staying home from work today as my mom who is also my babysitter is not feeling well. Going to take advantage of it and take the kids out this morning to check out Micheals to see if they have any fall crafts outs and will stop by the Christmas Tree Shoppe too.

Have a great day all.....

Morning all. So news about my ipod. Some of you might remember I posted about it not turning on...well....In order to get it fixed because its the hard drive its going to be over 150 bucks :( No...no..no...I cant pay that. Looks like I will have to wait till the new year to get another music player. I miss my Christmas tunes at work! DOH. But September is creeping up on us! I cant wait. Our dinner for our 2 year wedding anniversary was great! Its always strange to not have our son with us when we drop him off at his grandparents. William is doing quite well. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning, Folks.

The middle of the week has arrived already. Wow!
Days to the Season: 93
Days to Christmas Day:135.
The 3/4 Season Milestone arrives the day after tomorrow.
Moving right in there!

Overcast this morning with rain expected for today and the rest of the work week.
We currently stand at 77.

Well, I'm off to continue my niece's driving lessons.
(And yes, I'll watch out for the train, Ballcoach!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

OK, Holiday. See you at the 'Pines once I finish up with my niece.
Keep the fired twinkies warm and the sweet tea cool for me!

Rainy day expected today....listening to Christmas music, the first time this year. Can't believe we only have 134 days to go!:sparkle:

Good day everyone,

It appears that I had to catch up on a lot of posts. Congrats on the 4000th in this thread, Track! It's Wednesday. Only two more days to go until the milestone.

I've been in quite a bind this week. A good friend of mine from high school is getting married on Saturday. The only problem is that she is getting married back home which is a 12 hour bus ride from where I now live. I cannot find a ride either. Therefore, I would have to bus 12 hours on Friday afternoon and then another 12 hours to come back on overnight on Sunday to arrive in time for work on Monday morning. It will not be a fun trip, but I am worried about feeling terrible if I miss her wedding. Although we really only speak a couple times a year now, we still feel very close. Plus, there are only about 150 people invited to the wedding, which is definitely much smaller than I would have expected for her.

I think I know what the consensus on here will be, but what does everyone think I should do? Thanks!

Is it possible to take a train instead? [Much more comfortable.] Go anyway, you can always catch up on sleep but you can never get this moment back again.

I just got back from taking mom to the doctors. They took her out of her aircast boot and just put her in a ankle brace. That is good news for me because she can now drive herself around. WOO HOO!!!!! Now maybe I can get back on some sort of a routine. Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I say go as well. If you don't you will regret it later. The bus trip may be terrible but it is worth it to be with your friend on one of the happiest days of her life.

I wish it were possible to take the train. Unfortunately, the train heads straight north after North Bay and does not continue west to my destination... Oh, the consequences of being from Sault Ste. Marie.

That's true. Seeing her happy does mean a lot to me. I talked to my boss about it, too. She said that I really should go. It seems as if everyone is pushing me to go! The 3:15 pm to 2:45 am bus trip on Friday afternoon until Saturday morning best provide me with plenty of sleep!

i hope you enjoy yourself brent, i'm sure you will and the trip will have been worth it.

i'm soooo tired, i haven't stopped this week, it's all go, i'm sick of being busy, i want some rest! hopefully i can chill a bit at the weekend. there is just so much preparing to do for this baby.
