I have two large meals to enjoy, one with friends here at my place and then a huge one with about 30 family members on Monday at my brothers place. :family:

OMG yesterday I was in the market standing in line to pay for my things and I saw it. A Taste of Home magizine had their Thanksgiving and Christmas recipe issues out. I had to buy both of them. The recipes look delious I'm definetly trying at least 3 out of each magizine. Go to their website TASTEOFHOME.COM you'll definetly find some useful ideas. :lol::munch:

I saw that and had to buy it too. It was the first recipe book I ever bought. I think it's a nice one to start the collection.

Yeah. It's going to get warm here soon too. It's been nice and chilly for a while now, but tomorrow it's supposed to go up to 72 degrees! What's up with that?!

I'm afraid not, but thanks for asking. He wasn't home when I got here from work today, either. I'm afraid he's probably been pickedup by someone else. I haven't seen any evidence of being hit by a car, and he's always stayed near the house if he got out.

Maybe some thing will happen soon

Well, if he's with another family, maybe you can still find him. I have a friend that happened to. Right around Christmas, they lost their dog. After a few days, they started putting up lost dog signs around their neighborhood. Luckily, the family who found him was honest and brought the dog back.

Well, it worked out! I walked outside this morning and there he was. Wet, muddy, tail-between-his-legs, but he made it back! I guess he found a girlfriend nearby He was so tired he didn't even want to play, just went to sleep.

Mornin everyone! It is COLD right now. It's 35F. It's not going to get too hot today, but like I said earlier, 72F tomorrow. And it'll be rainy. The weatherbug says 100% chance of rain tomorrow. I've never seen that before.

I have a nice but busy day today. I'm going to head to the craft store here soon. Then I'm going to my gram's house to have my dress worked on. At some point today, I need to call another company I want to work for.

Well, I'd better drink this tea and head out. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I'll likely check back later when I get home.

35°F?!? Man, that's nice! It was 88° & humid here yesterday, but the mornings are still pleasant.

Thursday has rolled around and I am starting to feel like the weekend is in sight! Yay! I'm headed off to a busy day - leadership meeting for my MOPS group, an hour or two of things to do for work and then a I am meeting a friend to let our girls play and we'll be finishing planning our Halloween party that is only two short weeks away! Ack!

And in 4 short weeks from tomorrow, I'll be leaving to start my Christmas celebration in Branson! It is so exciting to have it soooooooo close! I can hardly wait! I may break down and put one of my trees up before I leave town so that the celebration can continue immediately when I get home.

Well, I had better get ready to go. It is pouring down rain here and we're supposed to have rain ALL day long. Every time it rains I say that I am going to buy an umbrella, but I never seem to think about it once the rain stops. So once again, I am going to end up soaked...

But the we are more than 90% to the season, and that is all that matters! Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning, Friends!

Well, we are into that final leg, the home stretch run to the start of the Season. After that, only ONE more Milstone is left until Chrismas Day and that's the 90% mark to Christmas Day itself, falling a few days after the Season begins.
Wow! So many Milestones have come and gone already. This year has really moved along so fast!

Days to the Season: 36
Days to Christmas Day: 78
As you can see, the Christmas Season will arrive 5 weeks from tomorrow.
(Better get that list together and check it twice!)

Chilly here this morning where we stand at 52, a good 10-15 degrees cooler than it was this time yesterday.
At least the skies are sunny and it's calm.

My mouth is still bothering me but it is better then yesterday! Its a chilly morning here in MD. In the high 40's.. my Hubby left our bedroom window opened last night and I was freezing! Today is pay day for me and Im almost through my 2nd week back from maternity leave. I cant wait for the weekend..My 27th Birthday is Tuesday so this will be my Birthday weekend!

The Crowns are planning a quick trip to see the fall colors in the mountains this weekend and a countdown volunteer is needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings. I shall be back here Monday.

This is the best news that I have heard all week. It's a great feeling when your dog returns. When he was alive, my beagle ran away a couple times but managed to come back later in the day. Nice to hear that your pup returned. It has defintely brought a smile to my face.

I love taste of home. I subscribe to their holiday and quick cooking magazines. There are always great recipes in them.cheesy
