The fact that I have already experienced my two pre-Christmas Season events certainly means that we are only a day away. I must say, Trans-Siberian Orchestra was FANTASTIC last night. To be honest, I was not too excited until we arrived at Scotiabank Place. Our seats were in the second level, but they were perfect for us. The music was beautiful and the special effects (lights, videos, fire, explosions, etc.) were stunning. I've never actually been to a huge arena concert before - I listen to music where there usually only a couple hundred people at a show - but this did not fail to disappoint.

The first half with their Christmas music and story was phenomenal. Everything flowed so well and it was great to see so many people there smiling to perfectly performed TSO Christmas music. Their energy and stage presence was definitely right up there with the best, too. It's great to see that they love what they do. To be honest, I am still smiling from the final "Merry, Merry Christmas" lyrics.

The vocalists also sounded wonderful. I was even impressed with songs from the new album! I was worried that they would play too much from it during the second set but the four songs mixed and finished with more Christmas music could not have went any better. A great show that everyone should experience someday. Brad, there is justification to drive three hours to see it!!

I can't believe tomorrow is THE DAY!!! I will try to get here tonight but we are heading to Pittsburgh in the morning to visit friends & family so I have lots to get done before we go!!! But I would really, really like to be here....

Please Cedar, come back!! We miss you!!!!

Good afternoon my Christmas friends! Good news..my baby boy is back to his rotten self..and of course tested negative for H1N1! Thanks again for everyone thinking of us.

Carol I got vaccinated for H1N1.. I had the nose mist and I didnt have any side effects.. I think everyone reacts differently and they are saying that you may have some symptoms for a day or two..so Im hoping your feeling better by now?

I was off work yesterday to stay home with my baby boy and I got some wrapping done while he napped. Christmas music starts 24/7 on our local station next Friday the 20th (although we are already listening to Christmas CD's at my work). Im so excited we are this close! Have a great afternoon everyone
