Wow, I didn't realize this thread was this active! I guess I still have a lot to learn on these forumscheesy.

One thing I used to look forward to this time of year was the Daytona 500 and the start of the NASCAR season. But that ended as soon as they started that stupid chase thing. I absolutely hate that new format, to me all they had to do was revamp the points. Like giving a lot more points to the winner and maybe even cutting off points past the 24th finishing position. I tried to stay interested in it, but now when I see someone win a race or with the point lead, I think so what, that won't matter when there are 10 races to go. To me it makes the rest of the season meaningless, but that's me, I am sure there are people out there that like it (like Jimmy Johnson fans), and that's fine for them, I choose not to watch it anymore.

Same here with NASCAR. I lost interest in it. Hey, we have the Winter Olympics to look forward to!!!

This is not a sport but competition, I am looking soooo forward to American Idol starting this month!!! I noticed there was a thread for it last year but I joined on these forums after the season was over. Anyone else here watching???

boring day today....some people love Sundays...I never have....stores are closed......no regular shows on tv...nuttin...lol...been playing a bit with Kandice, doing some housework....but knowing that tomorrow is Monday....makes Sunday so bad

Morning, friends! Hope all is well for everyone today!

We had a great time last night at the ballgame, but I am sooooo tired. We left home yesterday around 11 am and got home around 1:30 am. Probably 3 or so before we got all settled in, warmed up, and off to sleep. It was terribly cold at the game, but such a great atmosphere. Really, really had a lot of fun.

You know, I love the season we had, but it is nice to get up and just be able to come sit down and read m.m.c. and not be running around in a frantic pace. This year was the busiest Christmas I've ever had. This tells me alot. I'm going to have to begin preparing and doing things earlier and or simplify (which I don't want to do). So in a couple of weeks, I'm going to start evaluating the to-do list and begin thinking about 2010 Christmas. But back to my original point, I can't remember the last Sunday I had this little to do. I know for a fact that it is the first Sunday since middle of November that was going to be this laid back, maybe since October.

See everyone later! Have a good day!

Hey!
Almost to 100 thread posts already!
We are starting at a torrid pace!

Crown - you hit the 100th post with that post!!!!!!!!

Well done that gender neutral person!!!!!!!!!!

I am really enjoying the cold and hoping for snow they are teasing us with for later in the week(we had a dusting at least yesterday)......so many times after Christmas it can be 50 and just blah here.....love the cold and at least the threat of snow.....

Took most of the Christmas down yesterday and did lots of organizing and cleaning....gotta do some more today..feels good..a fresh start....I feel really good about this new year!!! Enjoy the day!!

Really cold here Snowman. The high here today is supposed to be a mere 19 degrees. No threat of snow for us, but it is only going to get colder this week.

My wife told me I needed to take the lights down outside and I agree. However, this will not happen today because it is too cold. I put them up in the middle to end of October so that it is warm out so it might be March before I take them down. Wait, should I just leave em' up? Hmmmm!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

Brrrr! It's cold down here, in the 20's. That's almost unheard of down here.

We're going out to eat lunch, then to see the Chipmunk's Squeaquel. That should be fun, huh? I'd like to see Avatar eventually, too.

I hope you all have a great day!cheesy

Coach glad to hear that you had a great time at the game and I am hoping that you weren't one of the people they showed on tv jumping around without a shirt on.
